 ITsAP and Hyderabad ACM Chapter organised a Seminar and Code Lab on Contemporary Mobile Application Platform on Saturday, June 26th 2010 from 9.00am to 6.00pm at CA, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

 

Mobile applications are truly getting mainstream now with wide and deep penetration of mobile phones both worldwide and in India, and with more device-neutral mobile application platforms getting established in the solution space. This seminar, organized by the ACM Hyderabad chapter and ITsAP,  discussed the contemporary Mobile app platforms and use cases followed by a hands on tutorial.

 

In the fore-noon session, use cases, solution approaches and how the mobile app platforms help were discussed. The post-lunch hands-on sessions  on codelabs (tutorials)  enabled the participants to actually build a small app using the Android and Microsoft platforms.

 

Earlier Brig. Harikumar, Executive Director, ITsAP Welcomed the participants to the Seminar and Code Lab. He said, "It was the endeavour of ITsAP to bring latest developments and technology trends to its members and hoped all participants will have important take aways from this event".

Deepak Swamy, AVP, Head Strategy in Communication Industry from Infosys spoke on
